Hello fellow Lenovers. I am the proud new owner of a Lenovo Desktop H215. Brother got it for me from his work, (Office Depot). He got one of there credit cards there and got a great deal on the pc. My question is I got the PC because I do mid level gaming (World Of Warcraft) . I installed a 500w Pwr Supply in it and a Nvidia gt240 512 ddr5 (pny series). My question is down the road I may want to up the processor. I currently have a amd athlon x2 2.7 215 series and I currently have some good deals I can get on amd quad core processors thru my uncle. My question since lenovo wont release any details on the mother board is it possible to just swap out the mother board and processor or can i just swap out the processor? Im wanting to get a phenom x4 black edition in which I can get for 70 bucks at the moment. Any help would be greatly appretaited. And i dont care about the warranty on the lenovo. I spoke to someone today at lenovo and they were very nice but not helpful at all with my questions in which I wasnt surprised lol.. Appreitate the tips!

You must to get more information about your current motherboard. Can you download and run "Everest"?

Thank you both for the informinative posts. I will get the everest program when I get home and post the specs for you. I knew there was a program that told me the details of the mother board. I had actually used everest before so this helps out alot. Thanks again and look for another post later this evening!
