I just purchased a new Lenovo H410 desktop.
I want to install windows XP SP3 x86, and i need SATA AHCI drivers for the HDD.
The problem is that i cannot find them on Lenovo's drivers support, and on the intel site, im not skilled enought to find them aswell.
Would someboody be nice to show me the way i can find this? Also its hard to find some configuration info's regarding H410; info's regarding my motherboard, who made the chipset, HDD manufacturer, etc... i tried finding these info's searching with my machine type nr. or configuration number, but no luck... i will much apreciate any answer

Did you try to install Windows XP using the compatability mode in the BIOS?
I have a link for you,but to make sure that you wont get those BSODS again during the XP setup you may have to slipstream the drivers into the setup disc
Here are the instructions that will get you started

thanks for replying,
In my BIOS i have only SATA enable/disable option.
but anyway, windows xp installation works normal, without any BSODS.
after installation finishes, in my device manager, the hdd list as IDE/ATA.
my intention is to have the AHCI function activated, and to make this using the cd slipstream method. thanks for the link.
but basically, where can i get the correct SATA AHCI drivers?
to bad i didnt got any system configuration info manuals regarding my motherboard chipset, hdd manufacturer etc.
i only got some warranty and manuals regarding setup and maintenance.
the only way to find these is only with software help...
