Worried about new Lenovo 30192GU purchase

Hi,

I just purchased a Lenovo 30192GU package...desktop, monitor and wireless printer from Best Buy.

 

I use for small bookkeeping business.  As soon as I set up the computer and loaded Quickbooks, I started hearing a faint "knocking" sound and the green light keeps going on and off like something is being processed even though I may not have any programs open.  I've tried to put a bit of pressure on areas of the desktop to see if it stopped but it doesn't.  This noise will drive me insane if it is something that cannot be corrected.

 

I have needed a new computer for 4 years and now I'm worried that this new one might be a "lemon" and I hate the throught of having to take it for service when it is only 2 days old.

 

Any suggestions?  Should I pack it up and return the computer and hope that they will exchange it for another one or have it checked out by someone?

Hello mate,

 

The noise is coming from the HDD. It's related with the HDD activty light.
