Hello

A message alerts me to the fact that my network manager driver needs to be installed , but when I attempt  to remedy the issue the "reinstall driver" button is grayed out. How would I reactivate the "reinstall driver" button, etc.?

Uninstall it first. The install it.

I'm relatively new at this: exactly how would I go about uninstalling the old driver first--what is the exact protocol that I need to follow (step1, step2, etc.).

Control Panel -> Programs and there search that driver on the list.

If you don't know how to do it, just take your laptop to a technician or restore your system.
