I just did a fresh install of windows and I got a blue screen last night. It said stop0x00000116. It also said something about an atikmdag.sys error. This computer is brand new and this is only the first time it happened. Should I be worried that windows is corrupted or something is wrong with my computer? By the way all the drivers are up to date and installed correctly from lenovo.

I installed the one off the lenovo website yes. Its really wierd because I just did a fresh install. I was just listening to music when all of a sudden my screen did this weird thing then blue screend. Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp2pXhmGH-8. It looks alot like that. It is also weird because I have played games on it for a couple of hours today and it is not doing it again. Could this just be a weird glitch?

Ok well its been two whole days and no blue screens. I have been using the laptop at least 3-4hours each day web surfing and I even was able to play battlefield and some other games so Im hoping this points to my hardware being ok. The only thing I can think of is that spotify was open at the time....hmmmmm'
does anyone else have any insight on this issue?

I would just like to know if there is a way to make sure its not my hardware. I only have so much time to get this exchanged (30 days). So far it has not done it but I just want to make sure it is only a software glitch not something wrong with my laptop.

Ok this is the last time I will try to post this to the top. THIS IS A BLUE SCREEN!!! its serious someone please tell me if there is a way I can assure myself it was a software issue and not a hardware issue. These forums are dead becuase when I post sometimes people don't answer!!
