Simple tap not working on Monitor.

Dear Concerned,

I am using Lenovo ThinkPad E420 two months old in which the option of Simple tap is present, As  per the guidliness i have installed the program with update also.

While the Simple tap works from finger touch on Red button to 2 tap on the Synoptic board but i am not able the use my finger touch on monitor screen but the same works through the mouse point.

I have even reinstalled the program but it has the same issue.

Can any one help me in getting this resolved please &  it would be very helpful.

The ThinkPad E420 does not have a touch screen, so touching the screen will not do anything.

I have ThinkPad X200 (7454-2HU) and also have the same problem. SimpleTap never work using finger on screen.

Can any body elp?
