x200 Tablet Enhanced Multitouch Win 7 Driver Doesn't Work?

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I wonder if someone could help me getting the two-finger touch to work again?

Just got the x200 with enhanced multitouch yesterday (Windows 7), the two-finger touch was working out-of-the-box (System description says: "Pen and two finger touch input available", resizing fonts in browser by pinching works).  I've been tweaking with the Wacom digitizer drivers since the pressure touch from the pen doesn't seem to register with Gimp 2.6.7 (a photo/image editing software like Photoshop, if you don't know).

I tried installing this driver from Wacom: http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/driver.cfm to no avail.  So I tried uninstalling all tablet drivers and re-installing the multitouch drivers.  Looks like most solutions I found point out to this driver:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-73295

However, after I reinstalled the driver, in the System information, the Pen and Touch section only says: "Pen and Single Touch Input Available", but in the Device Manager under Human Interface Devices it listed: "Wacom Two Finger Touch".  But it seems the two-finger touch feature is out right now, though I cannot find a way to test it, much less calibrate it.  All software that comes with this laptop doesn't have a two-finger testing application it seems; even the ones under ThinkVantage.

Can anyone help?  I'd try as a last resort to do a recovery with factory settings...

Thanks in advance.

M

*Update: just tested on opening an image, and tried pinching, turning, result: nothing happened.  I don't know if that's supposed to work with the two-finger input.

Update:

Finally decided to do the Factory Restore (Boot > press the ThinkVantage button).  Now two-finger touch is detected again (after restarting after the initial setup (i.e. creating user name, etc.)).  System info (Windows sphere > Right-click on Computer > Properties) says: "Pen and Touch Input Available with 2 Touch Points".  Also, two-finger touch diagnostics tool is now available under the ThinkVantage tools.

I hope someone could help me to get the digitizer pressure to register on Gimp (or Photoshop).
