Are there ay issues with running Fedora 10 on W500? Is installation process is smooth? Any driver issues? Please, would you be generous to provide with any instructions on this :manwink:

ok, scrapped fedora :-).  Back to ubuntu.  Too many annoyances and overall it just feels clumsy b/c it's different I guess..  Also, wifi isn't quite working correctly, ubuntu was correct to blacklist the driver for now.  However, the intel 2.5.0 driver and mesa is a vast improvement in performance (still some bugs).  I miss synaptic, and update-grub (tried apt-rpm and synaptic but there were segfaults).  Also, I found an intel 2.5.1 .deb package to test out.

 

But seriously, get the flash 64 bit plugin if you haven't already.
