Hi
As a lenovo g470 owner I just discovered that chineese store sell a version with Meego/Gnu/Linux
http://appserver.lenovo.com.cn/Lenovo_Product_Deta
“Operating system Genuine Meego Linux Simplified Chinese”
I wish I could buy that one instead the OEM ms windows7 I dont need ...
But my question is how to get the official lenovo meego os ? dl cd or dvd ?
Also any meego developer or user fell free to join this thread and say hi
Regards

Hi
I don't think you will find a MeeGo image from lenovo if you exclude the Chinese site. MeeGo no longer exists either, but you can download an image from here
https://meego.com/downloads
I used it on an S10-2 and on a X220,It runs very well.No hitches as of now.

As a meego developer I know where to get the public packages, but I was expecting that lenovo added some stuff for better support on that shipped version...
I any users tests a meego lenovo system , feel free to review it here ....
Anyway this is a good start for us that vendors try to promote other system, i am not sure the whole world is happy with a single OS , at least I am not and I am forced to buy it even If I have no plan to use it ... any tracks to get a refund for that as the microsoft licence suggests ?
But here, let's keep focusing on leveno GNU/Linux projects :-) any involvement into upcoming tizen ?
