Finger print configuration instructions can be found here
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Linux-Discussion-Knowledge-Base/Configuring-Fingerprint-reader-in-Linux-...

I use Fingerprint reader on Ubuntu 11.10 (T410) It runs without a hitch.

For Camera you can use the application cheese

Re: LENOVO E520 -1143 Support Ubuntu 11.10 ?

For me, in order to get the wireless to work you just have to type the following commands into the terminal in Ubuntu:

$ rfkill list all

$ sudo rmmod -f acer_wmi

$ sudo rfkill unblock all

$ sudo su

# echo "blacklist acer_wmi" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

# exit

Thanks,

Re: LENOVO E520 -1143 Support Ubuntu 11.10 ?

Sorry it took so long. I missed this message. If you want, go ahead and install Ubuntu, if you haven't already, just remember to save the info or else you will need a wired connection.

Thanks,
