Y570 owners running Linux. Please see:

To see if you can assist in getting bbswitch to work on a Y570 model laptop. This is required for the new
version of bumblebee to work.

Sorry, It is not. They cannot find out the right ACPI calls for enabling discrete graphics.
Even if they find it, You can only use nouveau drivers and save power by disabling nvidia card. We will never be able to use nvidia proprietary drivers without BIOS fix from LENOVO. Lenovo say that they don't support Linux for Ideapad, that mean they may never fix that BIOS !!! very veeeeeery sad

With an ugly hack (acpi_handle_hack) and bbswitch, the latest nvidia kernel module is loading and running just fine on my Y570 running Suse Linux 11.4. There are occasional glitches, but overall it is working quite well - requires bumblebee to launch specific applications that use the nvidia card. Cuda without graphics works without bumblebee.

If somebody which tried the instructions from BumbleBee's web and doesn't work in his/her Y570, please try this instead; this worked for me good:
