Usually, all Linux distributions has the same driver support. I think you should try Ubuntu because it's the easiest to install, configure and use.

I'm very partial to Mint and run it on all of my ThinkPads...

There's other good stuff out there, depending on what one needs/wants, but Mint is pretty much plug and play on most machines that I've tried it on...
