Y570, There are no drivers for GF 555 M graphic card

Hi,

I was really surprised that most Linux friendly manufacturer, Lenovo, queered my pitch by issuing this kind of laptop.

This GPU is not supported by latest driver for Linux from NVidia Web-site.

As it stated there http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/290.10/README/supportedchips.html

only GPU with device IDs 0x0DCD and 0x0DCE are supported.

Meanwhile the device ID of Lenovo's GPU is 0x0DEB.

Any suggestions what should I do now? How can I make it work?

Have you tried the Experimental Nvidia drivers?You can find them if you active the restricted repositories

Now there isn't a final solution, only a temporary hack
