It seems that the fingerprint reader isn't supported out-of-the-box in Natty. You can try the following guide: https://launchpad.net/~fingerprint/+archive/fingerprint-gui . Be sure that you run "lsusb" and check whether your reader is supported before installing all the ppas and packages.
