Battery: What's the best way to keep it when not in use

Hi,

now sure if this is the correct thread to ask.

I've a T400 4GB but I decided to keep it until windows 7 comes out bcos it lags like *&^% and using my XP desktop instead

I believe Windows 7 comes out in around September 09 hence I wonder what's the best option to keep my laptop without deteriorating my battery...I just got the laptop 29 Jun

lags like sh!t....F*&^ Vista!

thanks

According to Battery University, store your battery at about 40% of full charge and at a temperature of about 15°C.
