I'm transitioning from a Dell that sits on a nice stand in it's docking station, elevated so the display is like working on a desktop. I'm going to try to rig it to work with my Thinkpad T400 and it's Thinkpad Essential Port Replicator, but face the issue of how to secure the docking station to the stand. The Dell station locks in, won't work for the Lenovo port replicator.
Assuming that won't work (I'm waiting until my Windows 7 upgrade software shows up and I get the new PC all loaded), I'm looking at the Lenovo options for notebook stands. I find two models (listed above), neither available on the Lenovo site. I find documentation for the 79 only, but find both on the web.
Question - for those that have these, any idea what the difference (if any) is?
