I'm using SK-8840 ps2 keyboard connected to my laptop computer Thinkpad SL410k via an adapter(coz the SL410k has only USB port), without SK-8840 drivers. The Trackpoint does work without the driver, but I can't configure the sensitivity of the trackpoint and can't use the hotkeys.
I've googled and found something here
http://forum.lenovo.com/t5/Options-Accessories/sk-
I haven't found any other ways to drive the SK-8840, so I followed the steps above. BUT I met problems.
Problem 1
In the step d of 2, there was no "PS/2 compatible mouse", only "HID-compliant mouse" . I chose "HID-compliant mouse" to go on the steps.
Problem 2
In the the step m of 2, Windows XP didn't let me choose the file and then installed the wrong driver itself.
Could anyone please help me on that?
