Lenovo port replicators and T410 USB ports not working

Hello everyone.

 

I have tried 3 brand new port replicators.  The last one was the 4338.

 

The USB ports on the port replicator will not work.  I get "Unknown device" in device manager.

 

I have run all the bios updates, and system updates, and hardware checks.  I even used 2 other peoples lenovo laptops and they get the same problem with all 3 port replicators.

 

Personally i think Lenovo is putting out garbage that doesn't work.

 

is anyone else having problems with the USB ports on the port replicators?
