The lid on my T42p is not clean, neither I wanted it to be in the first place since I was just looking for an old ThinkPad with IPS screen and good keyboard, today I bought a skin to place it on the lid, I think I did an okay job in sticking it.

I bought a T60 15.4'' with WSXGA+ screen. The idle temps of CPU and GPU are around 62-65 with latest BIOS and TPFC installed. The fan gets loud too, but it's not dirty or dusty at all, the system was manufactured in '07 so the fan must have already seen good days of its life. I'm in hunt for a new fan.
