hi only a certain extent sized photos can be uploaded into the forum and i think prior permisions has to be taken from the mods on this issue....will decrease the loading of forum pages when images are present that should be the reason.....

Not exactly.  If I remember correctly, it's rank-related, and I don't think new members have access to post pictures anywhere in the forum.

You're right, though, about our requesting links to pictures instead of posting the actual images in most of the boards here in the forum.  This particular board is the only one which was set aside specifically for pictures.

i know most of the people including admins use an external link but wouldnt it be nice if the image uploading policy which i see followed by the mods enforced on persons from all rankings?woudnt that provide much more transperency to this issue??

I can't paste pictures either, I have to host them externally and then click on the "Insert/edit Image" button and then insert the URL in the appropraiate field as I do for links. This is also the same for a new member with 0 posts.

This is the only board where it is permitted to post pictures, using the method stated above, over 50KB and without an extra picture warning in the subject message.
