Re: R51 wireless driver ?

Welcome to the forum!

Here's your wireless driver:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-52527

After downloading it, you must go into C>Drivers>Win>Wlanath and run the setup file from there.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

George

I to have the same problem,

I download just about every driver on Lenovo's website.  I also ran a unknown device finder and it came back as:

PNPID: VEN_8086&DEV_4220&SUBSYS_27118086&REV_05

When I press FN+F5 I get, "NO SUPPORTED WIRELESS ADAPTER (802.11, WAN OR BLUETOOTH) ARE INSTALLED IN THIS SYSTEM".

I pulled the card and cleaned the contacts, still a no go.

In BIOS, I do have a MAC Address and I could enable or disable it.

My model # is 1836-H9U

Go to intel website and down load a file calle "Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection"

Also download  Lenovo System Toolbox and System Update.

These will help you in a great deal in getting it running in top shape, but again you have to go to Intel to get the last driver.

Also this driver "http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-52527" is no longer working.
