Yoko, my IBM Lenovo ThinkPad R52 1847W76 notebook, got a new lease on life this past week when her physical random-access memory (RAM) was upped from half a gigabyte to one and one-half gigabytes. She is happy; and when she's happy I'm happy too. At some point in the near future, I'll be upping her RAM to the full 2-gigabytes limit.
Yomako, my purpose-built desktop computing system, continues to languish in a state of disrepair; hence Yoko's been pressed into the role of central processing unit. There she is, in the foreground of that photograph below, happily running the external monitor (on which a likeness of her namesake from the village of Ritona is displayed). She's also running the external audio system and the printer. Bravo!
Yes, as you can readily see, I hate pointing devices and touch pads. Give me a mouse, please. Thank you.

LOL @ Serge1410! Yes, I definitely get the joke. All that back-and-forth believing gets confusing after a while, doesn't it? One thing's for sure: I definitely believe in Yoko. Who wouldn't?
