Bought L420, didn't come with OS or Recovery CD, cant install Windows?

I recently purchased a Thinkpad L420 that did not come with an operating system. It did not come with a Recovery Disc as well, and I cannot get the laptop to recognize a Windows 7 DVD. Is there anyway to install an Operating System on this laptop?

Hi Decasder,

Please note that Lenovo does manufacture special built machine's without OS. For those machines Windows could not activated when using Lenovo's recovery disc. Then client has to install their own Windows with their license key. Please contact local lenovo for more info.
