Fn key works as a NumLk, not as it should

Hey,

I am working on Lenovo ThinkPad R500, Windows 7 Pro.

I installed all the latest drivers via System Update and my Fn key does not work. Only action I get after pressing this button is NumLk locking.

Any ideas what might be causing this problem?

Does anyone have any idea why this problem occurs??

Try using a Live CD (for example, Ubuntu) for testing purposes. If it still happen, you have a hardware problem.
