I recently formatted my R-400 due to a god**** spyware, wouldn't let me do anything, I formated and installed another version of Windows Vista, but I did not had the Lenovo Recovery Disks, and now when I try to create them (clicking on the hard drive partition made for those CDs) it's just get on the drive and doesn't ask to create CDs. How can I get this option back?

you destroyed the recovery partition and the partition that contained your recovery discs when you formatted the laptop. You now have to buy the discs from Lenovo.

Hi maxcharbon,
You should have created the discs in advance.
Nonetheless you can still do so by first fixing the boot sector and subsequently restoring the system to factory settings later on through following method:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
Hope it helps.
