On my Thinkpad (R8xxxxx) Fn+F5 starts my Bluetooth manager.
However we work with an external keyboard and screen. On this keyboard Fn+F5 has a totally different function (Logitech EX 100 - let's media player start....).
I want to keep my thinkpad closed in order to keep the right resolution on the main screen. Also when closing the cover of the Thinkpad it does switch into sleep modus (which I like).
Question:
- Is there another combination of keys to activate/disable Bluetooth from my external keyboard,
- can I activate it wiht the mouse
- is there a keyboard type (from lenovo/IBM) that does have the same functions as the ones on my Thinkpad?
Thanks for your support!

OBU, welcome to the forum,
if you have installed the logitech software, you may need to uninstall it for the following to work.
Have you tried the ThinkPad Keyboard Customiser? You should find it in the ThinkVantage tools, if not you can download it;
Keyboard Customizer Utility for Windows 2000, XP - ThinkPad
Keyboard Customizer Utility for Windows Vista - ThinkPad
There doesn't seem to be a version for W7, we don't know which OS you have, but this may be because you can create a key shortcut in W7 yourself (??)

Dear Andy,
Thank you for your support. Logitech now showed us how we can give a specific functionality to a certain F-Key on the external Keyboard.
Now I thus need to know (on the C: Drive) the path to start the program that does start the Lenovo Bluetooth-Handling-Screen. (This is the one that pops up, when Fn+F5 is pressed on the Think Pad).
I hope this will lead to the solution.
Thank you!
Othmar

Try the following; acfnf5.exe should be in somewhere like c:\programs\thinkpad\connect utilities
Hope this helps
Andy
