I had to replace the fan on mr r61i and also was hopng to replace rhe power receptiicle, but, couldneb figure out hoe to remove the base so I could get to the mounting screw. In the process of doing this all of the wifi antenna wires got disconnected. There are three wire; a grey and a black wire cuming fvrom the left sife of the dispjay and a white wire from the right side;
Tthe network card has three antenna terminals: 1;TR1. 2;TR2, 3;RO
Which wires connect to which terminals?

I found how to attach antenna wires elsewhere. I said to attah them as follows:
TR1 - grey
TR2 - black
RO - white
I did this and put it back together and wireless was unavilable. I openened it up again and the antenna was attached. I then removed the wifi card and reseated it (even though I nnever removed it)
I restarted the computer and tried again, but, the wireless was unavailable.
Any ideas?

Hey Tmort,
I was reading your post and it would seem you were following the HMM and reinstalling as it instructed. Can you give me what R61i you have? Model type?
Best Regards,
Hiro
