How to reset R52 BIOS to factory default?

Managed to screwup my bios with update to remove hard disk nag after fitting ssd. Lost screen display and machine does not boot but beeps error.

 

Is there a jumper or other method of resetting bios to factory default?

Welcome to the forum!

 

Let me see if I understand you correctly: you flashed the BIOS with the modded one in order to remove the "2010 error" on boot, and bricked the machine, correct?

 

If that's the case, the only solution is a new board. There's no "jumper reset" or anything similar on ThinkPads.
