My IBM Lenevo Thinkpad r61, when started is just showing a dim screen and no logon screen ever comes up 
I ran the thinkvantage hard drive tests and all went through successfully. I also ran the monitor test and they also ran through fine. Not sure what happened all of sudden
Also, please find the last event that was a warning recorded in the event viewer.
Any help is appreciated
Windows saved user Mylaptop/Jenny registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed the registry will be unloded when it is no longer in use
This is often caused by services running as a user account try configuring the services to run either the localservice or networkservice account
