Keyboard output weird

I have Thinkpad 412 with Windows 7 Professional. It was working fine since November 2010, when I purchased it. Suddenly I found that some of its keys are producing weird output as shown below

Now I am not able to use this laptop, as keyboard produces weird output,

Can someone help whether this is some setting / configuration issue or hardware problem. And nothing was spilled over on the keyboard.

Please help me out.
