Hi sandeepsingh540,
Yes, this memory is compatible but only 64 bit systems support over 3GB of RAM so make sure your OS is 64 bit before upgrading.
Here are the specs for your machine which show this information as well: Detailed specifications - ThinkPad L410, L412, L510, L512, SL410, SL510
Best Regards,
Ed

Thanks Ed!
Agree that this memory matches the specs of the system based on the info on our support site, but as we don't test 3rd party memory, while it should work, we cannot promise 100% that this module will absolutely work..

Hi,
I am using a L412 (0585) i5 Model with 2 GB ram. I am trying to upgrade to 4GB RAM. But after upgrading, my laptop restart at windows 7 splash screen. But in BIOS it shows 4 GB. Even I am unable to install fresh OS.
The memory I have used to upgrade is 4 GB DDR3 Transcend 1333 Mhz.
I have tries BIOS update also.
Can you please help in resolving.
Thanks
