My R50e won't start windows after recovery

Hi,

 

After my Windows failed last week, I run "Restore factory settings" from Rescue and Recovery. From then on, it has been nightmare for me. 

 

I have tried many ways, but seems like the Rescue and Recovery didn't recover to Windows. Is it supposed to be that way, or it's an error?

 

Using a boot CD, i found out that now the harddisk (40GB) have these 2 partitions:

 

Partition         Status           Type           VolumeLabel                MBytes           System            Usage

D: 1                                   PRI DOS          IBMPSP                      406               FAT32ext              1%

C: 2                    A             PRI DOS          IBM_SERVICE          4695              FAT32ext             12%

 

 

My notebook comes with Windows XP. Is there any way I can get back the Windows?
