No sound in speakers, sound in audio jack?

Im getting sound in the audio jack, but no sound with the laptop speakers.

can you give more info on what PC & OS you are using do you have the preinstalled win.

everything was working fine till i threw up on my laptop . no sound the next day. dont believe anything got inside the laptop .maybe a little thru the keyboard?Maybe alittle bit got in the usb ports. maybe short?

that's never a good thing, lucky it still works at all .did you take the palmrest & keyboard off to ensure it did not get inside

theres nothing inside. its so weird that my sound works with the audio jack and not the speakers. i heard this problem with the switch inside the audio jack getting stuck.so far no solution

where did all the liquids/solids went when you threw up? have you checked whether any of these things got under the speaker grill?

its probably nothing to do with me throwing up. The laptop is slowing dieing on me slowly anyways. Non stop crashes. brought a new laptop anyway.Dell . good riddance , last lenovo for me. 3rd failed motherboard . I will donate this to some charity. hopefully the will enjoy it more then I ever did.
