All,
Post your shipping and order management experiences here:
Here are some common points of frequent discussion:
Avoid Credit Holds - ensure that BOTH your bill to and ship to addresses are listed with your CC bank before ordering
Lenovo will NOT bill your card until order ships - an authorization charge hold to check for available balance may show up when order is first placed.
Estimated ship dates are based on default lead time and can vary from what was displayed on website.
In the US and Canada, Lenovo utilizes UPS for new product shipments
Orders may ship before the Estimated Ship Date
Orders may enter through Alaska and pass through Louisville, KY before traveling on to final address
Cancellation requests may take up to 2 days to process
Requests to change configuration or other aspects of the order may require the order to be rebooked.
Lenovo does not accept payment via international credit cards, except AMEX.
Prior shipping discussions for Thinkpad R series notebooks can be viewed on this -->thread<---.

Hello,
I have a question. I ordered a L412 on July 27th. I was checking the status and my banking account but nothing changed. Then by researching the internet, I found out that Lenovo doesn't accept international Visa Card, that I used tu puchase on Lenovo Canada's website.
Whereas I have 2 confirmation emails. What should I do? Waiting for a automatic cancellation?
I think the mention during the process of purchasing isn't enough readable, since regular user just ticks the box "Same as billing address" just before.
Regards.

I thought R series has been discontinued already, so i am not sure whether the discussion topic on delivery is still relevant.
I think L series is the better title of this post.

Yes that's right. It's the R and L forums. The shipping discussion can easily apply to the L series.

It seems that the order is being processed. I received an email on Monday saying that the laptop has been shipped. But nothing arrived, shipping tracking number neither. Today the money has been debited. So at least it is paid.
Can anyone here help me finding the tracking number?

The Tracking Number should be in the 'My Orders' section when you login to the Lenovo Website.
Shipped means that lenovo has already sent it out not necessarily meaning you received it already. Usually takes a few days
