R500 LAN drivers for XP.

Hi every one, I bought a ThinkPad R500 2714 last month. It came with Vista, I downgraded my vista to xp. I installed all the drivers including "Intel PRO/1000 LAN adapter" this was downloaded from the following link http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-70316.html

There is no prob with the instalation but I can't see any LAN connection in the taskbar or in my network connections list. I want to connnect to internet through LAN but it is not possible. Please give me necessary drivers to solve this problem..............

Re: R500 LAN drivers for XP.

Downloading the driver is just the first part of the process. After that, you must go into C>Drivers>Win>Ethernet and run the setup file from there.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

George
