Hello!
my system:
Lenovo R500
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,g Ghz
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 x64 Professional
latest drivers
thinkVantage installed and working
my problem:
in the past i changed the setting for the power button, but changed it back to "do nothing" when you press it (power settings in win7). since then, if the notebook is in "sleeping mode" (after closing the lid) and i want to wake it up (after opening the lid) via pressing the power button, it comes on to the login page and then goes back to sleep. after pressing the power button a second time i can start windows the normal way.
the energy settings tell me, that there should be no reaktion when pressing the power button, whether the notebook is on battery or connected.
can you please tell me how to simply wake the system up by pressing the button without putting it automatically back to sleep? like it was before i stupdly messed up with the settings ![]()
thanks in advance
