Thinkvantage button & function keys not working

Hi all,

 

I have a strange problem where my thinkvantage button only works during boot up (to open rescue & recovery) then stops working in XP (SP3). The function key combined with F2-F12 don't seem to work either, but combining function with say screen brightness does. Any ideas how to fix this rather irritating issue? :smileyhappy:
