Using a VGA-to-RCA out to TV adapteon R50P

Can somepne please tell me if the R50P (1832 22U) can support a VGA out to TV using an adapter with 3-RCA?

The adapter documentation said that the notebook's grapics card should be able to support TV out forthis to work.

I pretty much want to watch my videos from laptop on my TV rather than burning it on DVD's.

Any help is sincerely appreciated. thanks

If your graphics card is not integrated (i.e. if it is using ATI graphics card), then there is a good chance it will work.

If your graphics card does not support TV output, http://www.monoprice.com has a video converter for over $20 that is supposed to convert VGA to RCA composite (yellow plug) video or S-video output.  I will need to get one if I want to connect to my 720p TV.  My prior computer had an S-video output, so no adapters or converters were needed.
