harddisc clicking, faulty harddisc shock protection sensor

hi there,

i have a problem with my R61i (Type 7650-e8g) for some time now:

without any shaking, the icon in the status bar for disc shock protection changes to yellow with a loud clicking noise. after some time more, it changes to blue. this all happens without any shaking at all.

if i doubleclick on the blue icon, a message appears: (german, as a german laptop)

basically that says, the sensor for active disc shock protection is possibly faulty.

in the upcoming window, all controls are greyed out. 

somebody a idea about that? all updates from the lenovosoftware update are installed.

somebody the e-mail of lenovo support? i have only found a phone number.

Did you test it with PC Doctor as it suggests? What results did you get?
