Hi everyone
i bought this lenovo laptop partly because i could add the more expensive Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 which supports 2.4ghz and 5ghz wireless networks
i have many wireless networks in work which have 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz networks and i can only see the 2.4ghz networks
i have spoke to intel and lenovo and i have not had a resolve yet

i will give a brief
i have updated the drivers to the latest intel drivers 15.1
i have checked the bios version and i am usin 1.15 (new one released 1.16 i have not tried yet)
lenovo said i need to update drivers, i have
lenovo said i need to update bios - i have not because i personally feel this will make no difference besides i am away and do not have a cd to burn the bios too
lenovo said if i have done the above and it stil does not work then it is a limiation of the motherboard.
i said if that is the case, where does this leave me as at no point was this mentioned that a key feature to a product i bought was disabled
anyone else out there have this issue?
