not knowing the password you set is not good news. Unfortunately the forum rules prohibit discussion on how to subvert security measures, which passwords are. You'll need to remember the password or take whichever action you feel will solve your situation easily.
No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc, nor shall any posts provide .
It may be possible for you to remove the drive and copy your files to another system using an USB hard drive caddy, if you don't have backups.
