HDMI audio issues

I have a Sl300 and I am having hdmi audio issues through my Onkyo TX-SR805. Video es perfect.

If I connect the hdmi cable directly to my TV there are no audio issues at all. 

I have tried everything, however, I have not been able to solve this problem.

In the past was a hit or miss, now I never get audio through my Onkyo. I have updated the Nvidia drivers and I noticed that in a recent Windows update the Nvidia driver was updated as well.

go into your sound under control panel, select hdmi rather than speakers/headphone.

I always do that. In fact it shows that it is outputing sound via hdmi audio. However it only works if I connect my lenovo directly to the tv.......

maybe in the future driver release they will fix it. Sometimes these automatic switching doesn't work so well.

Thank You for this information. Hope that my SL500 will work properly using HDMI connection on LG LCD TV.

I try to get sound on LG TV using HDMI connection using  "go into your sound under control panel, select hdmi rather than speakers/headphone", but on my Lenovo SL 500 in sound control I can find option select HDMI you mention.

If somebody have experience how to do it please reply. By the way picture on TV is excellent.

I solved problem with HDMI audio on LG LCD. Simply, computer have to be shut down, or in sleep mode when you connect HDMI cable to PC.

Lenovo automatically recognize video and audio signal.
