Hi to everyone.
Except horrendous dpc latency (9000) everything is working fine with my sl500. But i have a minor problem, when i startup the system it won't enter BIOS while pressing 'lenovo care' button. I can enter bios by holding insert and then quickly pressing f1 ,but pressing lc button on boot does nothing. It just goes on to win splash screen.
LC button works fine in windows, btw, and the first time i started up the system i was able to enter BIOS through lc button.
And only that one time-after that, nothing,it's dead on boot. It stoped working before i installed windows or upgraded the BIOS btw,for no obvious reason.
What's causing it,can it be solved?
I'm on win sp3 and model is sl500 NRJ6FCD1.
Thx

I am running XP SP2, same issue, and it went into BIOS when pressing Lenovo Care when I first got it. I have had this laptop 2 weeks, and I hate it! It is much slower than my 4-year-old Toshiba, which only had 1GB of ram [this has 2 GB].
It also won't write XP backup disks.
Called service, they want me to send it back. I didn't buy a laptop so I can send it in for service!
