the 2 cpu that you have is 1066fsb
if your sl510 support 1066 fsb then it will work
if it only support 800fsb then it will just not post as mine did
there is no danger of damage the cpu or the lapop
what model of the sl510 you have?

I have 2847 version and it's support 1066 mhz
I will try it this week and then write the result. I will try it with E8135.

Zykki, what was your experience? I have some problems with the termal sensor reading .... (http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/SL-Series-ThinkPad-Lap
I would be very glad to hear of your experience.
