Hello anyone & everyone,
I have a problem with an unknown device found in the Device Manager under "other devices" it says the following:
Manufacturer: Unknown
Location: on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
Device Status: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
When I try and find the driver it can't be found.
Under the "Details" Tab... it has Hardware Ids as: ACPI/ATK0101 and *ATK0101
Can anyone help with this?? Thank you SO much for your time!!
Sincerely,
Brady

I have this exact same problem-it occurred all of the sudden one morning when I tried to log on.
I believe the "Unknown Device" (one of the "System Devices" in the Device Manager) is the ATK0101 ACPI Utility and uses a driver called A0101X32.sys which seems to be nowhere on my computer (I have no idea where it went or why it vanished). However, I cannot manage to find this driver on the website and download/install it, and what's more, when I try to do so, the "Update Driver" dialog boxes informs me that the file I must find is one with the extension "*.inf" which doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Has an answer to this problem been found?

Hi AlcazarDave, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!
ACPI is power management. Try reinstalling the Power Management driver:

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. I used the link you left in your post, but the file you listed (MIGR-70413) does not appear to be available anymore. I downloaded the file listed as "Power Management driver for Windows 7, Vista, XP - ThinkPad SL300, SL400, SL400c, SL500 and SL500c" which was named 6aku05ww.exe
I hope this is the right file?

Yes that's the right one!
