Hello all,

I've installed windows 7 in my SL300. And I've tried to install the bluetooth driver (windows 7) from the lenovo website. The problem was "No Bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure your Bluetooth device plugged in properly in order to continue installation " eventhough my laptop has Bluetooth. Could you please give some ideas? Thank you all!

Hi tunavoi,

Before installing the driver you need to activate bluetooth by pressing Fn+F5 first. Hotkey driver is for Fn keys.

Are you sure you installed the proceeding drivers correctly?:-

Installing drivers from lenovo is a two step process, namely extraction and installation:- 

[Extracting files]

1. Make sure to be logged on with administrative privileges.
2. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
3. Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
6. In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 9.

[Install files]

1. Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and clickFinish.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete installation and restart the computer.

I've just installed my windows 7 with the update CD received through Lenovo.  I tried "enabling" the bluetooth driver; however when i do "fn+f5" I only see the wireless card, which is already enabled.

Do you have any other suggestions on how I can install the driver for the bluetooth on WIndows 7?

I got the same problem here. Solved the problem today by downloading/installing;

http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/6aku05ww.exe

It's solved my problem after install the executable which  Geusmeijer suggested.. just restart and press fn+F5 and set Bluetooth radio ON..

hello all

i have the same problem as you describes!

but i tried all the fix solutions but it didn`t work.

somebody please help me! the bluetooth just  disappear after windows 7 installation.

Control Panel --> Devices and Printers --> [Right mouse button on the notebook icoon]--> solve problem...
