I have a TP SL300 laptop. Ok machine, but suddenly the Lenovo System Update function failed. Error message says "It was discovered a problem with the package directory on the system update server for your system. Contact support."
I have searched the Lenovo WEB site but have not found any way of contacting them. No Warranty anymore. I found a Norwegian phone number but it does not work...
I have system 273853G, Vista operating system and Norwegian language.
Anyone have experienced this problem and know a possible solution?

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Try reinstalling ThinkVantage System Update, perhaps it'll solve the issue:- http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?Legacy

Thanks, can you please explain a bit when you call the mentioned phone number in working hours what exactly happens? Do you get a busy tone or the number is dead altogether?
