SL500c wired LAN problem

Hello,

I have a problem with a SL500c wired LAN.

 

After I start a computer, everything is OK, the Internet connection works... after some time (ten minutes to hours) the connection suddenly stops. Then I can not access the web, I even can not ping to local DHCP, DNS, gate etc.

 

No errors, everything act normal but the wired LAN does not work.

 

I tried almost everything, turn off an anti-virus,  turn an off firewall, reinstall both... no success so far.

 

The only thing thats help is a full restart.

 

I am afraid that is a HW problem and my warranty ended few months ago... :smileysad:

 

 

 

I will be glad for any suggestions.

Win 7 Pro installed from scratch only with necessary drivers (and Lenovo Care bullsh...) but I don't think the problem started immediately after OS re-installation

Could Windows be powering it off when it's idle and not turning it back on? Try pinging your router with the /t switch (keeps pinging) when it works, and see if it keeps the connection working.

You're running the latest Power Management v1.62 and Ethernet drivers, right?

ColonelONeill, you are probably right!

I turned of a power saving feature for the ethernet "card" and no connection loss so far.
