Hi Everybody.
I've downgraded my machine from Windows7 to Windows XP by Rescue and Recovery CD's, and after perfect instalation, reboot appear this pop up message: "Can't Open ACPI ATK0100 Kernel Mode Driver "
I have updated by ThinkCenter whole software, also Windows update and still this message appear.
The bigest problem is that i can NOT restart or Shutdown the machine ! Only the way to Shutdown is pressing the Power ON/OFF button for few seconds.
Can enybody help me or sugest something to resolve that problem ?
Thanks

Hi buazen,
Try re-installing the following drivers:-
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
Be sure to run the second setup from C:\Drivers... when required.
If these drivers don't solve the problem then you can re-try restoring your system to factory settings using Blue button when Thinkpad logo shows up during boot sequence.
Hope it helps.

Ahoy.
Thank You Maliha for sugestions ![]()
I've done whole proces like You told and doesn't disapper the problem unfortunetly.
BUT i've uninstalled the ThinkPad Power Menager, reboot and instaled that one from Your link, and [importand, i think] during the installation[custom] proces i excluded option 'start with system' and problem finished !
Anyway after uninstall ThinkPad Power Menager the pop up window disappear. So if someone doesn't use this menager [like me] can resolve this 'strange' problem ![]()
