I saw this message in the Community Knowledgebase about the T series. The same problem occurs with my SL510.
The drivers listed in this message were:
And I went looking for them in the SL 510 list and there was only power management driver. Can anyone please tell me where else I can find the other two? So that my Fn keys start working and i turn off the dumb trackpad. Any namesakes would also help, like maybe communications utility is called something else in sl510??

Hello Jeea84 and welcome to Lenovo community,
Power Management software contains the Hotkey feature for you laptop and for communication utility you can download from the mentioned below web link.
I hope your issue will get resolve after this.

oh yes! i did install these.
i finally roamed around on the site and found these drivers, installed them and uninstalled them within 15 minutes!!
the hotfeature utility and the fn feature that makes the menu come up on screen (when u install the hotfeature util, it gives a list of 4 thgs to install ryt, so i installed all.) is not at all compatible with my laptop even tho it says in the driver download page that it is. i really dint want the fn functions anyway. wat i wanted to do was disable my trackpad, which combination is still not working btw.
i disabled my trackpad by disabling the clicks of the trackpad mouse buttons.
and i dnt care for the fn functions.
